Refund policy

What happens if something is not right after you pay.

  1. Try everything before you pay

    You can build your whole wedding website, open it on your own phone and show your family, all without paying. Payment is only taken when you choose to send invitations to your guests, so you only pay when you are happy with it.

  2. When you can get a full refund

    • You ask within 7 days of paying, and no invitation links have yet been sent to guests through Forever Stories.
    • You were charged twice for the same wedding website.
    • A fault on our side stops your invitations from working, and we cannot fix it within 3 working days of you telling us.

  3. The Memories and photographer add-on

    The add-on is refunded in full if you ask before sharing opens for your wedding. Once guests or your photographer have started sharing, it is not refundable.

  4. When a refund does not apply

    • Invitation links have already been sent to guests, unless a fault on our side applies as described above.
    • The wedding is postponed. Instead, you can change the date and details at any time and your guests’ links keep working.

  5. How to ask

    Write to [email protected] or message us on WhatsApp at +94 71 393 6662 with the mobile number on your account, the couple’s names and the date of payment. We confirm within 2 working days whether a refund applies.

  6. How the money comes back

    Every refund request is reviewed by a person on our team, not an automatic system. Approved refunds go back the way you paid: to the card you paid with, through Dialog Genie, or to your bank account for a payment arranged with us by bank transfer. We start the refund within 3 working days of approving it; your bank usually takes a further 7 to 14 working days to show it on your statement.
