Ella cools down after sunset. Bring a shawl, a cardigan or a light jacket.

The venue is a short tuk-tuk ride from the station along Passara Road.
From Colombo
The train from Colombo Fort climbs past Peradeniya, Hatton and Nanu Oya and takes most of a day to reach Ella. Check the current timetable and reserve seats early, or travel up the day before.
