How our light began
Three small flames that became one.
2018
Tea at the Vesak dansal
Kurunegala, Vesak 2018. We were handing out cups of tea side by side at the same dansal, and kept finding reasons to stand at the same table.
2022
Our first lantern together
Vesak 2022. Bamboo, coloured paper and a lot of patience. The lantern leaned a little, and we loved it anyway.
2026
A question at sunset
Athugala rock, 2026. With the whole town lighting up below us, Dilshan asked, and Hasini said yes.

The day we light the lamp
Sunday 5 September 2027. Every part of the day is at Athugala View Hall.
